Laid Back Manor offers a unique accommodation experience for two in Tasmania’s beautiful Huon Valley. You will be lodging in a modern, self-contained cabin with queen-sized bed, kitchenette and ensuite on a picturesque two-acre property. The grounds boast a babbling creek that flows all year round, a seasonal waterfall and an abundance of native flora and fauna, including rare birds. Guests have exclusive access to the onsite golf course. There is NO TV in the cabin although there is excellent internet available. Standard check-in time is 2pm and check-out is 10am.

Take a leisurely stroll around the property, or enjoy the view from the comfort of your private living area with a local Pinot in hand. Your hosts, Kylie and Adam, live on site and will be happy to offer you complete privacy or to regale you with fascinating stories about the property and the local area.

Laid Back Manor is perfectly situated at the gateway to the Huon Valley, with easy access to Huonville and to the tight-knit apple-growing and fishing communities of the Huon. If you get tired of the excellent local produce and cute roadside stalls, head into the big city to see the sights. Hobart is an easy 25 minute drive away.

2 options for a gourmet breakfast are included at checkout. Locally sourced ingredients allowing you to cook an eggs and bacon breakfast at your leisure or indulge in a Granola, yogurt and seasonal fruit selection.

The cabin is self-contained and contains basic cooking necessities including:

If you would like a hamper of gourmet, local produce to be available on your arrival, please visit Huon in a Hamper or Tasmanian Gourmet Online. Alternatively, select your own local delicacies whilst travelling around the Huon and bring them back to be enjoyed at the property.

The drinking water at the property is pure, fresh Tasmanian rainwater.

On arrival, signage will guide you to your private entrance and a lock box beside the entry door. An outside light will be left on for arrival after dark. All bedding and linen is provided and is of high quality. Umbrellas and are available to allow you to explore the grounds in the event of wet weather. Brochures and maps of the area are available with recommendations for local places to eat, explore, drive, hike, and other experiences. While visiting, please feel free to fill in the visitors book and feedback form with suggestions for improvements.
